Mission Statement

TO GIVE ART A PLACE TO PRACTICE

This facility, located in Union Square, Somerville, MA, was established by Nick Zampiello, owner of New Alliance East, and Alvan Long, owner of New Alliance recording studio. It features an art gallery, three independent music production studios, and five workspaces for independent visual artists and fabricators. This marks the third location for New Alliance, which was founded in 1987, and New Alliance East, established in 1997. The new facility reflects Zampiello and Long’s ongoing commitment to supporting music and the arts in the Greater Boston area.
